Great marmalade

A great addition to the muffin, whether at breakfast or at teatime.

Consistently Delicious

Have loved this malty marmalade for years. While there is less orange peel, the flavor is consistently delicious. Only problem: one of four jars ordered had dented lid which broke the seal so jammy-juice leaked and made a sticky mess inside wrapper...making product inedible as I don't know at what point, nor for how long, the seal was broken. Kudos to Amazon customer support for prompt, responsive attention and refund.

Awesome Marmalade!! Crappy Packaging

1st order came with lid smashed open - this one - HAZZAH!! No problems, even though the packaging - as in the jar itself packaging was crap - thin - and I do mean THIN layer of light bubble wrap around it. Literally an act of the god of your choice that it wasn't smashed or lid popped a la my 1st order.Meanwhile, the Marmalade is awesomely delicious and has been for as long as I remember. Just caveat emptor re: packaging. If it's the vendor's fault and they read this - FIX IT!! Your packaging is C-R-A-P!!!! If it's Amazon - well, they don't give a crap anymore so... RIP that getting fixed/better.

Yes, I CAN taste the whiskey!

I was never a fan of Orange Marmalade. It always seemed bitter and strong, although it usually seemed to contain a lot of sugar. This Tiptree brand intrigued me because of the Malt Whiskey component, although I suspected this to be more of a gimmick than a flavor characteristic. What I got exceeded my expectations. This Marmalade is NOT bitter at all yet not over-sweet. And yes, I CAN detect the subtle flavor of whiskey. Together, these flavors truly complement one another. It's the first Marmalade I expect to buy again. I've never been disappointed in any Tiptree product I've purchased. I think they're the best.

The Wilkin family has been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and today the business is run by Peter Wilkin, great grandson of our founder. More recently, the Tiptree estate has become a Demonstration Farm for LEAF, helping to explain more about farming and how it fits with local communities and the countryside today.
