Taylors of Harrogate Earl Grey Lavender Latte with Honey
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Taylors of Harrogate Earl Grey tea (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk (any type you prefer; oat or almond milk work well too)
- 1-2 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp culinary lavender buds (optional for an added floral note)
- Cinnamon or lavender flowers (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
- Bring the water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the Earl Grey tea bag and lavender buds to the water and let steep for 4–5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
- While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a saucepan or in the microwave until hot. Use a handheld frother or whisk to froth the milk until it’s creamy and slightly foamy.
- Remove the tea bag and strain out the lavender if you used it.
- Add honey to the tea and stir until dissolved.
- Pour the Earl Grey tea into a mug, then slowly pour in the frothed milk.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few lavender flowers if desired.
