Taylors of Harrogate Earl Grey Lavender Latte with Honey

Taylors of Harrogate Earl Grey Lavender Latte with Honey

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag Taylors of Harrogate Earl Grey tea (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type you prefer; oat or almond milk work well too)
  • 1-2 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp culinary lavender buds (optional for an added floral note)
  • Cinnamon or lavender flowers (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the Earl Grey tea bag and lavender buds to the water and let steep for 4–5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  2. While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a saucepan or in the microwave until hot. Use a handheld frother or whisk to froth the milk until it’s creamy and slightly foamy.
  3. Remove the tea bag and strain out the lavender if you used it.
  4. Add honey to the tea and stir until dissolved.
  5. Pour the Earl Grey tea into a mug, then slowly pour in the frothed milk.
  6. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few lavender flowers if desired.
