These easy mincemeat pies are a festive favorite, made simple with ready-made pastry and rich, fruity Tiptree Mincemeat. Perfect for holidays, teatime, or whenever you want a cozy bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 package ready-rolled shortcrust pastry

  • 1 jar Tiptree Mincemeat

  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a muffin tin.

  2. Cut the pastry: Use a round cutter to cut circles and press them into the muffin tin to form the bases.

  3. Fill: Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of Tiptree Mincemeat into each pastry case.

  4. Top: Cut smaller circles or stars from the remaining pastry and place on top. Brush lightly with egg wash.

  5. Bake: Bake for 18–20 minutes, until golden.

  6. Finish: Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
