Tiptree Quince Preserve is made with quince, a most unusual fruit, about the size and shape of a large misshapen pear with yellow fluffy skin. When cooked with sugar, the quince takes on a character all of its own, to create this delightful conserve. All fruit is hand sorted, the implement used to de-core the quinces is called a 'Plonker'. Easy to spread, enjoy this preserve on toast, biscuits, muffins, pastries or even as a cake filling.

The Tiptree Quince Preserves that I ordered was very good and brought some memories s back. I have not had any quince preserves or jam for 60 years or so. Our neighbor lady had 10 quince trees in her yard and she would make a big batch every year. Good with p.b. and toast.
