Tiptree Orange Marmalade Pound Cake
Bright, buttery, and bursting with real orange flavor from Tiptree’s iconic marmalade baked right in.
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup Tiptree Orange Marmalade
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp fresh orange zest
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup whole milk or buttermilk
For the Glaze:
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp Tiptree Orange Marmalade
- 1–2 tsp orange juice or warm water
Instructions:
Preheat & Prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan or line with parchment.
Cream Butter & Sugar:
Beat butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).
Add Eggs & Marmalade:
Beat in the eggs one at a time. Then add Tiptree Orange Marmalade, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Mix until smooth.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine:
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in two additions, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined — don’t overmix.
Bake:
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
Make Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, Tiptree Marmalade, and just enough orange juice or warm water to make a pourable glaze.
Glaze & Serve:
Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top. Let set before slicing.
