Cranberry Brie Bites using Tiptree Cranberry Cointreau
Rich cranberries taste so much more sophisticated when supplemented by the intense bitter-sweet flavour of Cointreau.
How to make the Cranberry Brie Bites
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 tube (8oz) crescent dough
- 1 wheel (8oz) brie
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- 6 sprigs of rosemary cut into 1-inch pieces (for garnish)
- Cooking spray
- Flour for dusting
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- On a lightly floured surface, Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place the dough triangles onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Gently fold the edges of the dough over to create a little bundle or bite-sized packet. You can roll the dough around the filling or fold in the corners for a more rustic look.
- For a golden finish, brush the tops of the crescent bites with a beaten egg or a bit of milk.
- Cut brie into small pieces and place in each well on top of the dough. lace the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffed up.
- Top with Tiptree Cranberry Cointreau, some chopped pecans, and a sprig of rosemary.
- After baking, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish each bite with a small sprig of fresh rosemary for a fragrant and festive touch.
- Serve these warm as an appetizer, and enjoy the perfect combination of creamy Brie, tangy cranberry, crunchy pecans, and fragrant rosemary!
